Rogelio Jacobo Gutierrez died at Dominican Hospital on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018. He was 34.

Mr. Jacobo was born to Rogelio Jacobo Herrera and Maria Dolores Gutierrez on May 21, 1983 in Michoacán, Mexico. He was self-employed as a handyman and construction worker, who was very responsible and a hard worker for many years. He enjoyed events with bulls and horses (rodeo). He was a loving son and a good friend to all.

Mr. Jacobo is survived by his son, Jesus Jacobo; his parents, Rogelio Jacobo Herrera and Maria Dolores Gutierrez; one brother, Ignacio Gutierrez; and three sisters, Nancy, Mixl, and Joseline Jacobo. 

Visitation will be held at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel on Wednesday, Feb. 21 from 5-9 p.m. with the rosary recited at 7 p.m. Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Assumption Church on Thursday, Feb. 22 at 10 a.m. with burial to follow at Valley Public Cemetery.
