January 17, 1927 – February 27, 2019

Married to Kennith Osborn. Children: Judy Carrillo, Linda Flores (Hondo), Karen Mello (Mike), Floyd Osborn, Darrell Osborn (Karen) and Chelsea Estes Osborn (Kirk).

Juanita was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years. She was a loving and giving person who adhered to the golden rule. She spent most of her adult life in Watsonville and raised her family there as well; she was employed for over 25 years at Valentine’s Apples.

Juanita was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother! She enjoyed being with her family and friends; and also loved going to Giants Games whenever she could to revel in her love of baseball. Juanita liked to trade recipes, and she made the best Apple Cobbler and Oklahoma Fudge Cake. She spent the last few years of her life attending the Church of the Nazarene in Watsonville, and lived at Valley Convalescent Hospital.

Juanita and her late husband loved to travel around the U.S. together in their RV, and also had a great love of fishing. Anyone who ever saw them dance together could see the persevering and passionate union first hand!

We would like to thank the staff for the exceptional care she received at Valley Convalescent.

A private burial will be held for immediate family at the San Joaquin National Cemetery in Santa Nella, CA where she will be laid to rest beside her husband. Juanita’s family has arranged to have a Celebration of Life Memorial on March 24th, 2019 at Aptos Village Park Center located at 100 Aptos Creek Rd. The celebration will start at 12:00 p.m. Please come and celebrate with us! Lunch will be provided.
