George Argueta died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018. He was 26.

Mr. Argueta was born on Oct. 12, 1991 in Watsonville. He attended the local elementary school, junior high and high school. Since a very young age he proved himself to be a loving brother and son. He was a friend like no other, loyal until the very end with a heart of gold. His charisma, self-sacrificing attitude and good nature personality are what distinguished him.

Mr. Argueta is survived by his son, George Argueta Zamora Jr.; mother, Sandra Ortez; brother, Emerson Argueta; sisters, Briana Argueta and Sarahy Argueta; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents.

Visitation will be held at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel on Thursday, Feb. 22 from 3-9 p.m. Graveside service will take place at Valley Public Cemetery on Friday, Feb. 23 at 11 a.m.
