Esther Campos passed away peacefully at her home in her sleep on July 5, 2017.
She was born August 3, 1931 in Santa Barbara, California. At the age of 9 she moved with her parents and siblings to Watsonville.
In her early years Esther worked for the Strawberry Advisory Board.  She then worked for over 30 years for the State of California in the EDD Department.
During her retirement years Esther worked for her brother and sister-in-law at their real estate company where she found her true passion of helping people.
Esther enjoyed the Golden State Warriors and her beloved 49ers where she was a season ticket holder from Candlestick to the new Levi Stadium, a true fan in every way.  She loved to travel. She took many trips to Mexico and Hawaii, also Europe, Las Vegas and the Caribbean.  She enjoyed crossword puzzles and Sudoku and enjoyed her garden.  She was a Pink Lady at the hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Augusto and Natalie Campos, and her brother Joe Campos. She is survived by her brother Tony and sister-in-law Becky, and her sister Aurora; her nieces and nephews, Laura Kahawai, Rebecca Smythe, Natatel Campos, Timothy Reagan, Thomas Reagan and Augie Campos; and 25 great-great-nieces and nephews.
Esther will be remembered as a kind, loving, sweet, peaceful, amazing lady.  The world has lost a great person. Heaven has a new Angel!!

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 from 5-9 with a recitation of the Rosary at 7PM at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 12 at Saint Patrick’s Church at 11 AM with burial to follow.
