SANTA CRUZ — The County of Santa Cruz will begin hearings on a proposed $777 million budget on Monday, concluding on June 26.
The annual meetings are a chance for county departments to present their budgets, highlight goals and accomplishments and discuss future challenges. Meetings will be held at the County Governmental Building, 701 Ocean St., Santa Cruz (except where noted):
• Monday, 9 a.m.
• Monday, 7:30 p.m. (Watsonville Civic Plaza, 275 Main St., fourth floor)
• Tuesday, 9 a.m.
• Tuesday, 7 p.m.
• Wednesday, 9 a.m.
• Thursday, 9 a.m.
• June 26, 1:30 p.m.
