Services will be held on Friday for Pearl Grazian who passed away at home with her family at her side, she was 88 years old. Pearl was born of Italian immigrants. She was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois moving to Santa Cruz in 1946 and later to Watsonville in 1952 where she has resided until her passing. She owned and operated various fast food restaurants and laundromats in the County, the Foster Freeze in Watsonville; the Dairy Queen in Capitola and Mama and Papa Bears Laundromat in Freedom to name of few. Pearl was a faithful member of Bethel Tabernacle church for 55 years and was responsible for the kitchen, preparing many meals for others. She was well noted for her love of cooking, Italian of course. Pearl enjoyed art and crafts, especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Pearl is survived by her sons and daughter-in-laws; Terry and Barbara Grazian; Larry and Janette Grazian; David and Sandra Grazian: Dennis and Cindy Grazian; 10 grandchildren: 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 20th, 2013 beginning at 3:00 p.m. at the Bethel Tabernacle Church in Watsonville. Parking can be found at 31 Carr Street. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Youth N.O.W., (A program of Eternity Works, a 501(c) (3) nonprofit); 124 East Lake Ave. Watsonville, CA 95076.
