The Aggies demolished pool play by winning their three games 8-3, 11-4 and 11-4.
In the bracket play it was more of the same until they faced the NorCal Stormz in the final.
Both teams battled for six innings, but in the end the Aggies’ bats came through.
In the bottom of the sixth inning, with the game tied 3-3, Estevan Reyes got a single, and David Atar and Joshua Sousa-Jimenez both bunted to load the bases and give the Aggies a chance to win the tournament.
Adrian Flores came through for the Watsonville team by hitting a triple to score three runs to win the game and tournament.
The Aggies will now look to win their own tournament that they will host on Sept.14 and 15 at Watsonville High School.
The tournament titled the, “Baseball Freak Challenge,” will help provide the Aggies with funding for their season.
