WATSONVILLE ó Yvonne Marie Hernandez-Glenn died at Sutter General Hospital in Sacramento on Thursday, July 11, 2013. She was 42.
Mrs. Hernandez-Glenn lived in Watsonville until she was 19. She graduated Renaissance High School and attended Sacramento State University to achieve her lifelong goal of being a nurse until her health declined. She was a loving mother and wife who loved to spend time with her children and granddaughter. Mrs. Hernandez-Glenn also loved to bake when her health would allow.
Mrs. Hernandez-Glenn is survived by her husband, Kevin Glenn Sr. of Sacramento; sons, Julian Hernandez of Mexico and Kendrick Glenn and Kevin Glenn Jr. both of Sacramento; daughters, Rose Marie Hernandez of Watsonville and Kassandra Glenn of Sacramento; mother, Maria Rivera of Royal Oaks; step-father, Julio Rivera of Watsonville; grandmothers, Rosario Rivera and Luz Rodriguez both of Watsonville; siblings, Johnny Gonzalez and Tina Cortez both of Watsonville and Veronica Rodriguez-Parker of Napa; one granddaughter and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held at Mehlís Colonial Chapel on the evening of Wednesday from 2-9 p.m. with the funeral service at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations made directly to Mehlís Colonial Chapel, 222 East Lake Ave., Watsonville or call 724-6371.
