CORRALITOS — Lisa Marie Pierce died peacefully at home in Corralitos on Wednesday, June 5, 2013, with her husband Lee Pierce and mother-in-law Esther Pierce by her side. She was 48.
Born on Oct. 2, 1964, Mrs. Pierce was a 20-year Valley Churches United volunteer beginning at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church after the storms of 1982.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Tonia Ketchum; and foster fathers Dave Endes and Ken Marcum. She is survived by her husband Edward (Lee) Pierce and his family of Corralitos; mother, Annette Marcum; sister, Laura Wasielewski; and husband, Paul; brothers, David White, Dennis White and Jeremiah Rose, all of Ben Lomond; brothers, William Matheson of Stockton and Paul Burton of Pittsburg, Pa.; nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Remembrances may be made in Mrs. Pierce’s name to Valley Churches United, P.O. Box 367, Ben Lomond, CA 95005 and Hospice of Santa Cruz County, 940 Disc Drive, Scotts Valley, CA 95066. Mehl’s Colonial Chapel was entrusted with cremation arrangements.
