Along with a solid day at the plate, Ryan Rivera was also the winning pitcher, notching five Kís in two and two third innings.
The Braves advance for a winnerís bracket game against the Rays on Saturday, while the Padres will return on Tuesday for an elimination contest.

ēAstros 6, Cubs 5: In another opening round playoff thriller, the Cubs rallied from a 4-2 deficit to take a 5-4 lead in the sixth inning.
Cody Foster started things off with the second of his two hits, later scoring the first run on an Astrosí error.
Later in the inning, the second of two Jacob Haney doubles gave the Cubs the short-lived lead.
The Astros rallied to win it in the home half, as Luke Meyers reached on a one-out error, later scoring the tying run on Harrison Zischkeís RBI double.
Next up was Derek Kajisa, who then plated Zischke with a game winning walk-off single.

ē Dodgers 10, Athletics 9: Trailing 7-6 entering the sixth inning, the Dodgers erupted for four runs, sparked by Luke Keaschallís leadoff inside-the-parker, before withstanding a last-gasp Aís rally in the home half.
Julio Renteria singled in the first of the Aís two runs, later scoring himself on an error with Nathaniel Dillard at bat. Dillard was stranded at second base, though, as Dodgers reliever J. C. Arenas closed things out with a called third strike.
