PVLL: Giants drop 14 runs on Braves in final regular season game

The Giants blew out the Braves 14-7 during Monday’s Pajaro Valley Little League play in Watsonville.

Abel Martinez had a double and an RBI for the Giants. Isaac Gonzalez scored three times. Johnny Ceballos hit a two-shot home run and Joseph Ramirez smacked two doubles that brought in three runs.

Richard Lerma led the braves with two singles.

In other Pajaro Valley Little League action:

•Padres 8, Cubs 7: Cody Parker’s seventh-inning single scored Eddie Munoz and that was the deciding run for the Padres as they beat the Cubs in extras on Tuesday.

Trevor Sandoval had a double and James Sandoval had a triple.

Chris Stanton hit two doubles for the Cubs. Kyle Passey had two RBIs on a double and single.

•Rays 13, Astros 0: The Rays 10-run ruled the Astros, as E.J. Kelly and Matthew Ambriz combined for the four-inning no-hitter.

Maximillian Ramirez IV had two singles, a double and he scored three times. Kelly had two RBIs. Marco Pezzini crossed the plate three times for the Rays.

AAA Minors

• Dodgers 11, Cardinals 1: The Cardinals had no chance against the Dodger bats on Monday’s AAA Minors action in Watsonville.

Derek Quintana had a single and a triple on his way to two RBIs. Danny Miranda had two RBIs. David Perez went 3-3 with three singles.
