Watsonville man robbed at gun, knifepoint

WATSONVILLE — A Watsonville man was robbed early Tuesday morning by four men, two of them armed, the Watsonville Police Department reported Tuesday.

The victim, 39, was using a public pay phone approximately 12:40 a.m. when he was approached by four males, one of them carrying a knife and the other a gun, according to the WPD.

The suspects brandished the weapons at the victim and searched him. They then stole property from the victim. They left in a Honda Accord 4 door with a “Monster” sticker on the back window.

The suspect with the gun is described as a Hispanic male adult between 21 and 25 years old, 5 feet, nine inches tall with a medium build wearing a red zippered sweatshirt, a black shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes. The suspect with the knife is described as a Hispanic male, between 16 and 20 years old with a thin build. He was wearing a white pull over sweatshirt, gray shorts and red tennis shoes.
