Robert “Bob” John Bauer passed away unexpectedly at his home in Galt, CA on April 22, 2013. He was 48.
Bob was born in Watsonville and lived most of his life here until recently relocating to Galt. He initially worked for the family owned bee business Bauer Honey Company, was a carpenter by trade and also a recent member of the Laborers Union. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, mechanics, movies, music and spending time with friends and family.
Bob was preceded in death by parents Nickie D and Robert K Bauer; grandparents Ben and Rumalda Martinez and Robert U and Theresa Z Bauer.
He is survived by stepmother Casilda Bauer of West Valley UT; twin sisters Andrea Williams (Rick), Cynthia Mahoney (Dennis), brother Nicholas J Bauer (Carmen) all of Galt; half-sister Heather Bauer of Ben Lomond; step-brother Jack “Ben” Byers (Zoe) of Shasta Lake; step-sisters Susan Spainhower (Mike) of South Jordan UT and Audra Price (Darren) of Scotts Valley and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 10:00 am at Pioneer Cemetery, 66 Marin Street, Watsonville. A celebration of life will follow from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm at Pajaro Village Clubhouse, 739 Bronte Ave, Watsonville.For the complete article see the 05-11-2013 issue.
