PVLL: Lewis, Sandoval and Munoz lead Padres over Cubs

Ryan Lewis, Trevor Sandoval and Eddie Munoz lead the Padres over the Cubs on Monday evening in Watsonville.

Lewis came away with a double and a triple. Sandoval also had a double and triple. Munoz had two doubles and a single.

Chris Stanton had a home run for the Cubs.

•Braves 14, Rays 1: The Braves used Anthony Smith’s and Garret Laine’s big days to blowout the Rays on Tuesday afternoon.

Isaiah Bocanegra scored three runs and Andrew Seymour had a double.

Erica Furtado scored the only run for the Rays.

•Astros 9, Giants 8: The Astros were led by Luke Meyers two singles in their win on Wednesday.

Abel Martinez had three two hits for the Giants and Issac Gonzalez had three singles.

• Braves 11, Giants 3: Isaiah Bocanegra scored four times in the Braves win over the Giants on April 8.

Garret Laine also had a big day with a homer and four RBIs.

Ryan Rivera had a double.



• Astros 14, Cubs 10: It was a hit fest between the Astros and Cubs on April 8.

Harrison Zischke had a Home run and four RBIs for the Astros.

Chris Stanton had a triple for the Cubs. Dylan Vargas had a triple and two RBIs. Jacob Haney finished with two doubles and Grant Lawrence had in inside-the-park homer.

• Padres 7, Astros 2: Trevor Sandoval had an impressive 10-strikeout performance through four and two thirds innings on April 9.

Ryan Lewis had single and a double.

The Astros got a single and a double from the Harrison Zischke and Two RBIs from Luke Meyers.

• Giants 12, Rays 4: Able Martinez scored three runs in the Giants win over the Rays.

Luke Bruce had three singles and scored three runs.

Maximillian Ramirez IV had a single, an RBI and a run for the Rays.

• Rays 5, Cubs 4: The Rays squeaked out a win against the Cubs on April 10.

E.J. Kelly had a single and double.

Chris Stanton finished with a double for the Cubs and Grant Lawrence added one as well.

• Braves 10, Padres 0: Ryan Rivera had a brilliant day in the Braves shutout win over the Padres on April 10.

He finished with a double, a homer, two RBIs and three runs.

Garret Laine had a double too. Andrew Seymour had two had two hits. Dante Farias had a double.

James Sandoval finished with a double for the Padres.

AAA Minors

• Giants 12, Athletics 2: Dumonte Bolden had two singles in the Giants win over the Athletics on Monday afternoon.

Mario Castillo added a double for the Giants.

Merrick Gonzalez had a double for the A’s.

• Yanks 10, Cardinals 3: The Yanks overpowered the Cardinals on Tuesday afternoon.

Isaish Gonzalez had a single and a double. Dakota Rego finished the day with a triple and two RBIs. Jo Jo Diaz had a double.

Diego Orta had a triple.

• Dodgers 15, Atheltics 6:

The Dodgers easily beat the A’s on Wednesday.

Luke Keaschall had two doubles and Derek Quintana had a single and a double for the Dodgers.

Merrick Gonzalez had two RBIs for the A’s

• Athletics 8, Yankees 7: The Athletics dropped Yankees on April 8.

Julio Renteria had two singles and double. Nathaniel Dillard added a double.

Isaiah Gonzalez had a double for the Yanks.

• Cardinals 16, Giants 15: Donovan Mendoza four RBI and three run performance lead the Cardinals over the Giants in a close one.

Nate Furtado added three runs and Paul Furtado had two RBIs.

• Yankees 12, Cardinals 9: Raiden Rosso had 2 RBIs and Brandon George added four RBIs and a triple in the Yanks win over the Dodgers in April 10.

Isaiah Gonzalez had a home run for the Yanks.

Luke Keaschall had two homers for the Dodgers, one of them an inside-the-park shot. He finished the day with three RBIs.
