PVLL: E.J. Kelly’s late game heroics lead Rays over Astros

E.J. Kelly gave the Rays the lead in the seventh with an RBI single sparking a three run rally. The rally gave the Rays the late 5-2 win over the Astros on Friday evening in Watsonville.

Devon Gong added two singles for the Rays.

Alexandre Garcia had two singles.

•Rays 15, Astros 5: The Rays were lead by Maximillian Ramirez IV four RBIs and three runs in their 15-5 romp over the Astros on Saturday afternoon in Watsonville.

E.J. Kelly added three hits and Hunter Bobeda scored three times. Mathew Ambriz had a triple, two RBIs and three runs. Carlos Souza also had two RBIs.

Derek Kajisa lead the Astros with two hits, and Harrison Zischke had three RBIs.

•Giants 7, Padres 6: Erik De La Cruz had two singles fro the victorious Giants.

James Sandoval finished with two singles for the Padres. Ryan Lewis had a double.

• Braves 7, Cubs 5: Garret Laine smacked two doubles and had three RBIs in the Braves win over the Cubs. Andrew Seymour and Daniel Brierley both had a double.

Dylan Vargas had a single and a double for the Cubs. Chris Stanton had a double.


AAA Minors

• Giants 12, Athletics 2: Sean Farley and Dumonte Bolden both hit two singles in the Giants win over the Athletics.

Julio Renteria finished with a double for the A’s.

• Dodgers 14, Yankees 14: The Dodgers and Yankees finished the game locked at 14.

Dodgers Luke Keaschall had three hits and two RBIs in the game. Danny Miranda and J.C. Arenas added a double. Marco Mier also had a double and brought in two runs.

Rylee Gomez had two RBIs for the Yanks. Brandon George had a double, a triple, two RBIs and also brought in three runs.

• SJA Giants 8, PV Atheltics 3:

Ryan Io had two hits and two RBIs as the Giants beat the hometown Yanks.

The win is the second straight for the SJA league in the series.

Nathaniel Dillard had a double for the Yanks and Adam Cadelario and had two hits.

• Cardinals 15, Yankees 13: Paul Furtado’s two RBIs and three runs sparked the Cardinals in their win over the Yankees.

Donovan Mendoza had a triple and two RBIs as well.

Isaiah Gonzales had had a single and a double for the Yankees.

• Giants 10, Dodgers 8: Nathaniel Brouse scored three runs for the Dodgers as they took down the Dodgers on Saturday.

Derek Quintana had two RBIs for the Dodgers.
