The Santa Cruz Warriors rallied from a 19-point deficit and took the lead late in the fourth for a 98-92 win over the Los Angeles D-Fenders on Wednesday night at Kaiser Permanente Arena.
It was the Warriors’ first home game in a month.
The Warriors allowed Los Angeles to shot 57.1 percent in the second quarter and trailed by 10 at half. They also surrendered 18 turnovers in the first half to the visitors.
But they rallied thanks to the shooting of Hilton Armstrong and Cameron Jones, who each had 18 points. Darington Hobson had 15 points and seven rebounds, Taylor Griffin had 12 points and 17 rebounds, and Stefhon Hannah put in nine points and three assists.
The Warriors are 4-0 against Los Angeles this season. They return to action tonight in Reno.
