CORRALITOS — Sharon Kay Nizenkoff of Corralitos died on Saturday, February 9, 2013. She was 66.
Mrs. Nizenkoff was born on Sept. 29, 1946 in San Francisco to Rosendo and Maxine Fernandez. She married Theodore Nizenkoff on July 4, 1975. She graduated from Ravenswood High School in East Palo Alto in 1964. She continued her education at San Mateo College.
Mrs. Nizenkoff worked at Monte Vista Christian School in administrative positions for the past 17 years. She always valued the friendships and good working relationships she had with her coworkers. Even though she could not participate in all the activities and events at Monte Vista, she was always an enthusiastic supporter of the students and staff.
She is survived by her husband, Theodore Nizenkoff; two sons, Erik Nizenkoff and Alex Nizenkoff; mother, Maxine Fernandez; brother, Gary Fernandez; and two nephews.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Mehl’s Colonial Chapel, 222 East Lake Ave., Watsonville. A viewing will be held today from 10 a.m. to noon at Mehl’s. Services will be held at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel today at noon.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Nizenkoff Scholarship Fund at Monte Vista Christian School, Attn: Business Office, 2 School Way, Watsonville, CA 95076.
