Jessie Ortiz

WATSONVILLE — Jessie Ortiz died at her home in Watsonville on Wednesday, February 6, 2013. She was 66.

Mrs. Ortiz was a native of Jalisco, Mexico and moved to the Watsonville area 51 years ago. She loved listen to music, dance, watch “Novelas,” go to casinos and play Bingo. She also loved her dog, Susie.

Mrs. Ortiz is survived by companion, Maria Elena Hernandez; brother, David Ortiz; and sisters, Micaela Ortiz of Chicago and Imelda Ortiz of Milwaukee.

A Memorial service and Rosary will be held at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel on Friday at 1:30 p.m.
