Ruby Ellen King, 73, of Aromas, beloved wife of William Jackson King passed away on Monday January 28th with her family by her bed side. Ruby was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, and sister. Ruby leaves behind her six children, Naomi Elliott, David King, Theresa Smith, Patricia Wilmore, Anna Perkins-Head, Cody Morales, twenty two grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. She also leaves her brother David Ball of Jamestown. She was a faithful servant of God and longtime parishioner of the Old Mission San Juan Bautista Catholic Church. She also helped her husband conduct bible class there.
She was an accomplished artist, receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from San Jose State University, and teacher of art in the community. She also used her many talents to help teach the Catholic Religion to people of all ages. She was a brilliant woman who loved unconditionally and always had a smile on her beautiful face. Her touch was soft and warm. She now joins her husband and all the family and friends who have gone before her in Heaven. We all will miss her but rejoice in her going home!
Ruby's services will be held at the Old Mission San Juan Bautista Catholic Church Saturday Feb. 2nd at 1pm. We will gather after the service for a power point presentation of Ruby's life and there will be refreshments. Come join us for her celebration
