Shinichi Misumi

WATSONVILLE — Shinichi Misumi, a retired farmer, died on Wednesday, January 16, 2013. He was 94.

Mr. Misumi was a native of Watsonville and a WWII U.S. Army Veteran.

He is survived by his brothers, Sam and Saburo Misumi; his sisters, Rosie Takamune and Alice Iwamoto; his nieces and a nephew.

A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mr. Misumi’s honor to the Watsonville Buddhist Temple or the charity of your choice. Arrangements were entrusted to Mehl’s Colonial Chapel.
