Maria Segura

WATSONVILLE — Maria Ventura Segura of Watsonville died on Sunday, December 30, 2012. She was 82.

She loved cooking and gardening. Mrs. Segura was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Antonia, Concepcion, Vicente, Leo, Fermin, Maria Elena, Angelica Maria and Francisco; 16 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters. She was preceded in death by her son, Ignacio.

Viewing with a Rosary will be Sunday evening at 6 p.m. at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel, 609 Main St., Watsonville, CA with a reception to follow the Rosary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady Help of Christians Church followed by interment at Valley Public Cemetery.
