Loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, was born July 1st 1920. She was the youngest of 8 children of Romolo and Petra Reyes and the last to enter unto the arms of our Lord. She married her beloved Lupe Casillas on June 28th 1953, and shared a long happy and loving marriage until Lupe preceeded her in death. She spent many years as the wife of an active military husband, and toured many foreign countires and states. Upon her husbands retirement from the military they both settled here in Watsonville, Lupes ancestral home.
Here they owned Quik-Stop Market in Pajaro, and Lupe's Lock n Key in Watsonville.
Here they raised their family. They have a son Carols (Annette) Casillas and a daughter Renee (Jerr) Skelton, three wonderful grandchildren Carl, Timothy and Katherine and three great grandchildren Olivia, Aubrey and Owen.
Services will be held Oct. 17th at Holy Eucharist Church in Corralitos, to be followed by internment at Pioneer Cemetary. Family and friends are invited to a luncheon at the Portola Heights Club House afterwards.For the complete article see the 10-13-2012 issue.
