WATSONVILLE — Watsonville Police have joined forces with the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office and Scotts Valley Police in investigating at least five cases of indecent exposure in the past few months.

In the latest incident on Saturday, three females were walking near Airport Boulevard and Chappell Road at 3 p.m. when they were approached by a white male adult in a black Toyota sedan. The man in the Toyota pulled over near the group of victims and began masturbating in full view of them, according to Watsonville Police Sgt. Saul Gonzalez.

The victims, an adult and two juveniles, fled the area, but were followed and approached by the suspect a second time. The victims ran into a nearby home, and the suspect fled in his vehicle, Gonzalez said.
