WATSONVILLE — Francisca B. Felix, longtime resident of Watsonville, died at Watsonville Community Hospital on Tuesday, July 17, 2012. She was 88.
Mrs. Felix was born in Ojai, Calif., on Jan. 6, 1924 to Andres and Severa Briones. She lived in Watsonville for more than 45 years and worked as a cannery worker for Green Giant for 10 years. She was a very happy person, loved spending time with family and friends, and attended the ADHC staff. She also enjoyed praying, listening to music, gardening and raising songbirds.
Mrs. Felix is survived by her sons, Antonio (Margarita) Felix and Arturo (Teresa) Felix; daughters Luz (Margarito) Carrera, Guadalupe (Lorenzo) Huizar, Socorro (Francisco) Salinas, and Hortencia (José) Soto; 26 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pascual Felix, and her son, Rafael Felix.
Services have already been held. Burial took place at Valley Public Cemetery. Arrangement were entrusted to Mehl’s Colonial Chapel.
