Two Watsonville councilmen launch campaign season

WATSONVILLE — Two Watsonville City Council incumbents arrived at the City Clerk’s office early Monday morning, where they completed the paperwork necessary to run for their seats in the November election.

District 3 Councilman Lowell Hurst and Felipe Hernandez, who serves District 1, both came to file their papers shortly after the filing period officially began at 8 a.m. Monday.

City Council positions for districts 1,2, 3 and 6 are up for election in November.
