Watsonville kitchen fire extinguished quickly

WATSONVILLE — The Watsonville Fire Department quickly extinguished a kitchen fire Wednesday night at 172 Montebello Dr.

Fire Chief Mark Bisbee said “it was a little difficult to put out” because of where the fire was and the challenge of getting the hoses in, but it was out in about 10 minutes. The fire was dispatched by the first alarm responders and there were no major injuries.
