Gerald Fitzgerald

APTOS — Gerald Anthony Fitzgerald, longtime resident of Aptos, died on Wednesday, June 27, 2012. He was 78 years old.

Mr. Fitzgerald was owner of Fitzgerald Ceramic Tile and served Santa Cruz and the greater bay area for more than 40 years. He was a veteran of the Korean War and enjoyed surf fishing, camping, and jazz music.

Mr. Fitzgerald is survived by his wife, Mary Lynn; children, Erin, Kirk, Kevin, and Casey; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Capitola.
