YUMA, Ariz. — Eugene D. Moore (Gene) died on June 22, 2012, in Yuma, Ariz. He was 84.
Born in Kansas City Mo., Mr. Moore lived in Watsonville since 1939, till he retired and moved to Yuma, Ariz. in 1998. He worked for C&V Farms for 20 years prior to retiring. Mr. Moore enjoyed watching Western Movies, spending time with his family, and getting together with his breakfast club twice a week. Famously known for his New Year’s good luck dinner where all where welcome. He will forever be missed, but will never be forgotten by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Rose Marie Moore (Sissy); sons, David Moore, Scott (Linda) Moore; daughters, Sharon Moore, Denise (Tom) Panzich; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He also is survived by a brother in Nashua, N.H., Bruce (Norma) Barnett, that he was unaware of, and recently connected with after 80 years. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Orlen and Wayne Moore. He also leaves numerous friends in Watsonville, as well as in Yuma, Ariz., and other parts of the states.
