Wienerschnitzel coming to Watsonville

WATSONVILLE — Want a chili cheese dog with your fill-up? How about a 6-pack of mini-corn dogs and a large side of fries?

Those and more will soon be possible at the Chevron gas station and convenience store at the corner of Lee Road at Riverside Drive in Watsonville. When the ongoing construction project there has been completed, a Wienerschnitzel restaurant will be a part of the business, owner Khosrow Haghshenas said.

With more than 300 locations nationwide, the national chain has been selling hot dogs, burgers and other fast-food delicacies since 1961.
