Workshop to be held Saturday on Trails and Bicycle Master Plan

WATSONVILLE — The CIty of Watsonville Public Works and Utilities department will hold a workshop on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Nature Center located in the back of Ramsay Park to gather input from the public about the proposed Trails and Bicycle Master Plan.

The plan, currently in the draft stages, adds 30 miles of new trails, while improving the existing trails, in the slough areas and others.

The Trails and Bicycle Master Plan is part of the Watsonville Urban Greening Plan, which was funded by Proposition 84 in 2006.

A copy of the draft plan is available at www.watsonvilleutilities.org. Another workshop will be held on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the Old City Council Chambers at 250 Main St.
