Hit streak ends at 4 for Soquel alum Del Real

Soquel High alum Pascual Del Real’s hitting streak ended at four games, as the Edinburgh Roadrunners lost to the McAllen Thunder 9-3 on Monday in Texas.

Del Real’s final chance came in the seventh inning, but he grounded out. He finished 0 for 2 but scored one of the Roadrunners’ three runs.

Del Real came into the game with a .234 batting average. He has 15 hits in 20 games this season.

His last multi-hit game was Friday, when he went 3 for 4 with a double against the San Angelo Colts.
