APTOS — Construction workers are leveling a large field near the entrance to Aptos High School, in preparation for a new all-purpose playing field.
The large field is currently home to several tees and baskets, part of the school’s sprawling and popular disc golf course.
Aptos High science teacher Jacob Russo coaches of the school’s disc golf team. He was also the designer of the 18-hole course, which takes players up and around the large, wooded campus.
