Two MVC swimmers move on to CCS finals

Two Monte Vista Christian swimmers advanced out of the Central Coast Section swimming trials on Friday at the Santa Clara Swim Center.

Morgan Noonan took 13th in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 53.53 seconds. In addition, she took fourth in 100-yard breaststroke qualifying at 1:05.14.

Haley Rosenthal was 14th in the 100-yard freestyle at 53.68 seconds. She missed out on the 100-yard backstroke by 0.02 seconds, coming in at 1:00.9.

Noonan and Rosenthal will compete in the championship finals today at Santa Clara.
