Aptos High alum Kevin Eichhorn pitched five innings and finished with a no-decision in the Lakeland Flying Tigers’ 6-5 loss to the Clearwater Threshers on Thursday night in Florida.
Eichhorn allowed four runs on eight hits. He was staked to the lead three different times but was unable to hold it. However, he never trailed while he was pitching.
He had one strikeout, and his ERA moved to 3.27 after two starts with Lakeland.
Clearwater won in the 10th on an RBI single with one out.
Eichhorn has yet to get a decision after two games.
