Arthur Decaney

Arthur Decaney passed away unexpectedly Monday, December, 12, 2011. He was 74.

A native of Barnett, Missouri; Art moved to Watsonville at a young age. He owned and operated Art’s Auto Sales in Watsonville for nearly 40 years. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and had a long time love of classic cars. He will be most remembered by all as a very honest and helpful man.

Art is survived by his son, Arthur G. Decaney of Watsonville; brother, Henry Decaney of Watsonville; sister, Shirley Coffee of Watsonville; grandchildren, Melissa Decaney, Richard A. Decaney, Candi N. Decaney, and Arthur G. Decaney Jr.; and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Richard Decaney in 2006.

Visitation will be held at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel on Monday, December 19th 5-9 p.m. Graveside service will be held at Valley Public Cemetery Tuesday, December 20th at 10 a.m.
