Karen E. Clark died unexpectedly Friday, February 5, 2010, at her home in Aromas. She was 51.
A native of Pasadena, Mrs. Clark lived in Aromas for the past 32 years. She graduated from Aptos High School and worked as a driver for Airborne Express for 10 years. Mrs. Clark was an advocate for special-needs children, especially her youngest daughter, Michelle. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed horses and the beach.
Mrs. Clark is survived by her husband, Jeff Clark of Aromas; father, Jack Anderson of Watsonville; three daughters, Jolene Burgess of Chico, Julianne Clark of Santa Cruz and Michelle Clark of Aromas; three brothers, Ken Anderson of Watsonville, Robert Anderson of San Carlos and Jon Anderson of W. Chesterfield, N.H.; and two sisters, Laura Lee Young of Carson City, Nev., and Trenna Hiner of Los Molinos.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at noon at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 255 Holm Road, Watsonville. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Mehl’s Colonial Chapel.
