WATSONVILLE — Angelina Sanchez died on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014 in Watsonville. She was 73.
Mrs. Sanchez was born to Rafael Collazo and Natividad Garcia on July 4, 1940 in Michoacán, Mexico. Mrs. Sanchez was a resident of the community for about 50 years. She enjoyed being outdoors, tending to her flower garden. She especially loved to crochet, have family gatherings, and being able to spend time with her grandchildren. She liked to visit her friends. Mrs. Sanchez was a religious person devoted to “Our Lady of Guadalupe.”
She is survived by her husband, Rafael Sanchez Villalobos of 58 years; five sons, Gilberto, Antonio, Rafael, Pedro, and Eduardo Sanchez; three daughters, Dolores, and Llesenia Sanchez and Guillermina Sanchez Harris; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel on Monday, Feb. 10 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a Chapel Blessing to commence at 1 p.m. and burial to follow at Valley Public Cemetery.
