Carol Ann Goldman, 75, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Saturday, April 6, 2013. She was born December 21, 1937, in San Mateo, California, the only child to Albert and Emma Knowles, who preceded her in death. Carol grew up in Watsonville where her parents owned and operated their own bakery. She later met John Goldman, whom she married and had two children with, Greg and Karen. After retirement as a medical administrator, Carol went on to enjoy many things including horseback riding, golf, traveling all over the world with her husband John and many friends. As she enjoyed her retirement, her family, artistic needlepoint, close family friends and her beloved dogs, became paramount in her life.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, John Goldman, along with her son Greg (Chris) Goldman, daughter Karen Goldman-Curtis, and her four grandchildren, Brian Curtis, Nick Curtis, Chloe Goldman and Shelby Goldman.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 10, 2013 from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Struve and Laporte Chapel, 41 W. San Luis St., Salinas, CA.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Struve and Laporte Chapel. A private family interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery on Friday, April 12, 2013. Memorial donations in Carolís honor may be made to the VNA Hospice.
