Felicitas Cortez

WATSONVILLE — Felicitas Cortez died on Saturday, March 2, 2013. She was 67.

Mrs. Cortez was beloved of all who met her. She was a day care worker at the Pajaro Valley Shelter, an accomplished cook and exemplary human. 

She is survived by her husband, Felipe Cortez; her three children, Erma, Jaime and Patricia; three grandchildren; parents, Rita and Avelino Ortiz of Watsonville; five brothers and sisters; 11 nieces and nephews, many cousins, and scores of loyal friends. 

A Rosary will be held at 7p.m. at Ave Maria Mortuary in Watsonville today and a church service on Friday at 11 a.m. at the Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Watsonville, followed by a burial at San Juan Bautista Cemetery.
