Sharon Kay Nizenkoff, 66, of Corralitos passed away on Saturday February 9, 2013.
Sharon was born on September 29, 1946 in San Francisco to Rosendo and Maxine Fernandez. She married Theodore Nizenkoff on July 4, 1975. She graduated from Ravenswood High School in East Palo Alto in 1964. She continued her education at San Mateo College.
Sharon worked at Monte Vista Christian School in administrative positions for the past 17 years. She always valued the friendships and good working relationships she had with her coworkers. Even though she could not participate in all the activities and events at Monte Vista, she was always an enthusiastic supporter of the students and staff.
Sharon is survived by her husband Theodore Nizenkoff; her two sons Erik Nizenkoff and Alex Nizenkoff; her mother Maxine Fernandez; her brother Gary Fernandez and his two sons Matt Fernandez and Josh Fernandez. Sharon is survived by not only her immediate family members but by the many people she has touched throughout her life.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Mehl’s Colonial Chapel, 222 East Lake Avenue, Watsonville. A viewing will be held at 5 pm to 9 pm Friday, February 15thand 10 am to 12 pm Saturday, February 16th at Mehl’s. Services will be held at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel on February 16th, 2013 at 12 pm.
