Betty Tomko formerly of Watsonville and Freedom passed away on November 16, 2012 while living in Florida. Betty was born in Arkansas and her family later moved to Watsonville where she attended Watsonville schools.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, John, one son Alvin Duncan of Lexington Ky., three daughters Annette Pedrina of Kailua, Hawaii, Shelly Hughes of Las Vegas, and Susan Tomko of Martinez, CA. Nine grandchildren and two great grand children and one sister, Eddie R. Vance of Watsonville.
A memorial service will be held at the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Freedom on Thursday, January 24th at 7:00 pm. Internment will be on Friday, Jan. 25th at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetary in Santa Nella CA at 1:30 p.m.
