WATSONVILLE — Victoria I. Macias died on Friday, January 18, 2013 at her home in Watsonville. She was 83.
Mrs. Macias was born in Jalisco, Mexico but moved to the Watsonville area nearly 30 years ago. She was a very noble and responsible wife who took care of her family; even cooking different dishes for each of her sons; and loved to help others. Mrs. Macias kept a beautiful home, loved to weave and flowers. She attended the Apostolica de la fe Cristo Jesus.
Mrs. Macias is survived by her seven sons, Rogelio, Eriberto, Benjamin, Ignacio, Armando, Jose and Juan Macias; three daughters, Martha, Gloria, and Luz Maria Macias; siblings, Federico Ibarra and Cleotilde Ibarra; 36 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Private services were held at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel on Monday. Burial will take place in Mexico.
