Ruby Day

SANDPOINT, Idaho — Ruby Day of Sandpoint, Idaho, died on Monday, December 31, 2012. She was 87.

Mrs. Day was born on Dec. 5, 1923 in Homedale, Idaho. She graduated from Watsonville High School and worked for the Pajaro Valley Unified School District as a bus driver. She was a member of Cowbells, Selle Grange and Sunnyside Women’s Club, all of Sandpoint, Idaho.

Mrs. Day is survived by her children, Chuck Day of Sandpoint, Idaho, and Carol Allen of Watsonville; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard Day in 1977.

No services are planned. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
