Bernice Layhee

Bernice Marie Picanso Layhee died peacefully at home surrounded by family on Monday, September 17, 2012. 

Mrs. Layhee was born and raised in Watsonville. She married in 1943 to Patrick Layhee of New York. She lived and enjoyed a full life.   

Mrs. Layhee is survived by three sons, Dave, of Dakota Dunes, Iowa, Tim of Merced and Mike of Watsonville; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. 

Donations in Mrs. Layhee’s memory are suggested to Hartland Hospice, 2511 Garden Rd, #A250 Monterey, CA 93940.

Services are private. Mehl’s Colonial Chapel was entrusted with funeral arrangements
