WATSONVILLE — David Gardiner died on Monday, August 6, 2012, at his home in Watsonville. He was 99.
A native of Penticton, British Columbia, Mr. Gardiner had lived in Watsonville for 77 years. He worked for Granite Rock Co. in Aromas. Mr. Gardiner was a member of the Aromas Bible Church for years and was superintendent of the Sunday school.
Mr. Gardiner is survived by his son, Glenn Gardiner, of New Brunswick, Canada; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law Deanna Gardiner-Garcia. He was preceded in death by his wife of 75 years, Violet; and his son, Don.
Graveside services will be held Aug. 17 at Pajaro Valley Memorial Park at 2 p.m. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Mehl’s Colonial Chapel.
