Charlotte Mae Pimentel

Charlotte Mae Pimentel of Corralitos California, born in Oakland California of the late Clarence and Sarah Timmons on February 11, 1935, died on July 17, 2012 at the age of 77. She was preceded in death by her sister, Claire and brother Hardy.

Charlotte is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Carl; four sons, Mark (Betsy) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Paul (Jane) of Spokane, Washington; Gregory of Monterey and Christopher (Sandy) of Redwood City; 10 grandchildren Jennifer (Isaac) Pimentel-Jahns ofCheyenne, Wyoming; Stephanie Pimentel of San Diego; Brian Pimentel of Monterey; Kevan Pimentel of Fort Collins Colorado; Marissa Pimentel of Santa Clara; Zachary, Ethan and Gavin Pimentel of Redwood City; Travis (Kristle) LeHouillier of Mountain House, California and Falynn Venegas of Rocklin, California; Sister-in-law Paula (Phill) Hoxie of Murphys, California; Nieces Michelle Slonecker of Spring Hill, Tennessee and Renee Philastre of Reston, Virginia plus many more nieces, nephews and cousins around the country.

Charlotte graduated from Oakland’s Castlemont High School in 1953, and except for a three year stint as an Army spouse, stationed and traveling in Germany, Italy and France, lived her entire life in Northern California, to include Oakland, San Jose, Monterey, San Leandro, Fremont, Aptos and Corralitos.

A sports fan by default, having raised four sons, and avidly supporting her grandchildren's many athletic pursuits, Charlotte was dedicated to her family and her faith, and people that knew her would agree that she was “one tough cookie.” She will be missed by many.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.

A Memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 20, 2012 at Holy Eucharist Catholic Community, 527 Corralitos Road, Corralitos California.
