WATSONVILLE — Nicholas “Nick” Reyes, longtime Watsonville resident, died on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz, surrounded by family and friends, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was 68.
Mr. Reyes worked in agriculture and construction as a roofer. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Elia Chavez; children, Anilu Reyes and Asiel Reyes; and 2 grandchildren.
Services have been held. Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Ave Maria Memorial Chapel, 609 Main Street, Watsonville, CA 95076. Donations to the family will be greatly appreciated.
