PORT TOWNSEND, Wash. — Dave Frazeur died on Monday, July 9, 2012. He was 89.
Mr. Frazeur was born on Sept. 14, 1922. He raised his family in Aptos from 1965 to 1982. He then moved to Port Townsend, Wash., where he resided for his remaining years.
Mr. Frazeur was a man of many passions. He was very proud to be a World War II veteran. He also was proud to have worked for Lockheed for 37 years.
His favorite hobby was sailing which was a lifelong passion. He volunteered for the Seascouts and was a mentor to many youth organizations. In his later years he was a lighthouse keeper at Pt. Wilson in Port Townsend. He also was a volunteer for the Coastguard Auxiliary.
Mr. Frazeur is survived by his wife, Effie; sons, Chris and Matt; brother, Howard Frazeur of Minden, Nev.; and five grandchildren.
There will be a life celebration at the First Presbyterian Church in Port Townsend. Time and date will follow.
