Rodolfo “Rudy” Hernandez Jr.

On May 30, 2012, Rodolfo “Rudy” Hernandez Jr. suddenly passed away at his home, he was 34. Rudy was a loving father, son, brother, grandson, uncle and all around family man. Rudy was born on July 25, 1977 in Watsonville; he is the son of Rodolfo and Blanca Hernandez and brother to six sisters. He will be remembered as a fun charismatic brother who lived an optimistic life, but most importantly, he was a man who loved and adored his children more than anything. Rudy also loved his career in the propane business and was a very hard working man. On his leisure time he was a WWE fanatic who enjoyed watching it live with those he loved, he also enjoyed hanging out with friends and family while BBQing and watching movies. Rudy was always the life of the party with his infectious laugh and larger than life personality. He always had a way of making you smile. His memory will remain forever in our hearts and he will never be forgotten.

Rudy is survived by his parents, Rodolfo Sr. and Blanca Hernandez; siblings, Deanna, Haidee, Lorena, Brittany, Hazel and Lupita. He also leaves behind, Rosa and their two children, Mathew and Jakob, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be held at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel on Sunday, June 3rd 5-9 p.m. with the recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 4th at Our Lady of Assumption.
