WATSONVILLE — Marie Rose Lane died at Dominican Hospital on Wednesday, April 25, 2012. She was 71.
Mrs. Lane was a lifelong resident of Watsonville and worked at the Bake Right Bakery for 12 years. She was a very happy, outgoing and generous person who loved everyone. She loved to spend time with family and friends.
Mrs. Lane is survived by her husband of 51 years, David E. Lane of Watsonville; daughters, Daveen Marie Lane, Doreen May Martinez (Albert) both of Watsonville and Darleen Michelle Lozano (Victor) of Fresno; brothers, John, Al and Barnaby; and sister, Vera; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Richard and Joe and sister, Berta.
Funeral services will be held at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel on Thursday at 10 a.m. with visitation to start at 9 a.m. Burial will follow at the Castroville District Cemetery in Moss Landing. Donations can be made to help with the costs for funeral expenses to Mehl’s Colonial Chapel, 222 E. Lake Ave. Watsonville, CA 95076.
